Tools you may need
- Stand mixer
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Large mixing bowl
- Cookie sheets
Ingredients
- 3/4 cups water
- 1 cup sourdough starter (discard, fed, or bubbly- any one will work!)
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
In the stand mixer bowl, put in water and sourdough starter.

Using your dough hook attachment, mix for about 2-3 minutes.

Add in olive oil.

Mix the oil. Then add in flour and salt.

Mix until dough becomes thick and sticky (approximately 3-5 min).

Taking your large mixing bowl, grease the inside with some olive oil. Then place the pizza dough in the bowl and let it sit, covered, for at least 2 hours.

After about 2 hours, pre-heat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
Put parchment paper on the baking sheet (you can also use a round pizza sheet). Place the pizza dough on the baking sheet and spread it out evenly.

Put sauce of your choice on the pizza dough. We used roasted garlic marinara sauce.

Next, add the toppings of your choice. We like to add freshly grated cheese and pepperoni.

Place pizza in the pre-heated oven, and bake for 15-18 minutes.

This sourdough pepperoni pizza is amazing on its own, but it is excellent when paired with some homemade ranch, or a fresh garden salad!
