Tools You May Need
Danish hook or hand whisk
Ingredients:
Batter:
- 6 tbsp butter (goes directly into the glass pan)
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup milk (warmed)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (to sprinkle on top)
Peach Filling:
- 6-7 peaches
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
Peel and slice peaches into wedges.

Place peaches into a medium saucepan, and put on the stovetop over medium heat.
Immediately add sugar and salt on top of the peaches, and mix it together to get the sugar on all the peaches.

Heat just until the sugar is melted, set aside.

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Place 6 tbsp of diced butter into a glass pan, and place the pan into the oven while it pre-heats. (This will allow the butter to melt, and the glass pan to become hot. **Doing this part is essential to ensuring that delicious crunchiness on the sides of the peach cobbler**.)

In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients- flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

Slighlty warm up a cup of milk, and pour over dry ingredients while stirring.

Whisk everything together until batter is very smooth.

Next, take out the hot glass pan from the oven, and pour the batter directly over the melted butter.

Then, place the peaches over the batter, and pour out all the juices as well. Distribute peaches evenly.

Sprinkle the top of the peach cobbler with cinnamon.
Last, place the glass pan into the oven, and bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes.

How to Serve
This homemade peach cobbler is amazing on its own, but it is even tastier with a scoop of vanilla (or your favorite) ice cream!
